Sonical Announces Trial Manufacturing of Remora at Sony UK Technology Centre Limited in Wales
Innovative British-designed wearable audio platform begins trial builds at world-class UK manufacturing site
Cardiff, United Kingdom - 17th December 2025 - Sonical, the developer of CosmOS, the operating system for the ear, has confirmed that its first personal hearing product, Remora, will undergo trial manufacturing at Sony UK Technology Centre Limited (Sony UK TEC) in Pencoed, Wales.
This milestone marks Sonical’s transition from pioneering technology developer to the trial phase of product manufacturing, with Remora representing the first hardware product to bring its CosmOS platform to market. The collaboration with Sony UK TEC underscores Sonical’s commitment to high-quality, sustainable, and locally based manufacturing as part of initial stages in bringing the next generation of audio and hearing technology to market.

Remora combines Sonical’s dual connectivity of Bluetooth and ultra-wideband (UWB) technology with its proprietary CosmOS software platform.
